MEADOWS AT MASONIC HOMES

Meadows includes 122 apartments in a senior independent living community comprised of 237,754 SF.  Extensive amenities include art and fitness studios, spa facilities, theater and underground parking.

GROVE POINTE AT MASONIC HOMES

Grove Pointe is a 59,835 SF building including 48 apartments of assisted living with common area facilities.  Built concurrently with Meadows the projects also included extensive reconstruction of the Louisville campus including, utility improvements, walking paths and sidewalks and an amphitheater that incorporated a salvaged entrance portal from an infirmary building that was removed.

EASTERN KENTUCKY UNIVERSITY STUDENT HOUSING

Eastern Kentucky University’s dormitory upgrade initiative started with this 85,000 SF new dorm build.  The project utilized ICF wall construction, steel and concrete floor construction, energy efficient MEP systems and green space areas to achieve LEED Gold Certification.  The building interior was constructed with low sound transmission materials and excellent lighting to provide the most inviting student learning environment for the university’s residents.

KETTERING HALL

The 47,280 SF, 4-story residence hall provides 174 beds for students and a 3-bedroom staff apartment.  The project includes a student kitchen and study areas on each floor and 2 elevators.  The structure is structural steel and light gauge metal framing with masonry veneer.  With a commitment to sustainability, the building is LEED-certified at the Silver level which includes higher insulation value, natural ventilation, strategically placed windows for daylighting and high-efficiency appliances.
